One of our Chivers, Chrisopher, has created a virtual Honor Wall for the troops. The idea is simple: Head over to Operationhonorwall and click 'Honor a Hero Here'. You'll be given an easy pop-up screen to craft a message for the soldiers. Your message of support will appear on the Honor Wall for everybody to see. theCHIVE is throwing an intimate gathering of like-minded idiots this Cat Saturday near our offices and you're invited. We'll be at Renee's on Wilshire in Santa Monica from 7-10 and we want to meet our LA Chivers. Here's the deal, I'm going to throw my credit card down and pay for everybody's beers. When that fucker hits its limit, you pay for beers. Simple.

The MIT university team came up with LiquiGlide, a ‘super-slippery’ coating which makes the insides of the bottle so frictionless that the sludgy goo inside just slides out like water. The secret ingredient to the liquid coating is a heavily-guarded secret, but the team promise it is non-toxic and will be FDA approved.
