A team of researchers from Imperial College London lead by Enzo Tagliazucchi set out to discover exactly what happens to the human brain on the psychedelic drug LSD. They performed MRI scans on the brains of 15 healthy individuals who were currently on magical journeys. The research led to a better understanding of how LSD leads to a transfer of consciousness to the external universe and the “feeling of being part of something larger and more transcendental.” Read more HERE.
