The colossal vessel is 216 feet wide and 1,187 feet in length, making it 164 feet longer than the Eiffel Tower’s height, for some perspective. At 264 million pounds, the HOTS is also the heaviest cruise ship on the high seas. The cruise ship can also carry around 8,500 people including 6,780 passengers in its 2,747 staterooms, according to CNN. The cost of such a monster ship you ask? Well, not cheap. Royal Caribbean reportedly spent over one billion dollars building HOTS, but that’s not to say it’s not worth every penny. Amenities on board include: 18 decks, 23 swimming pools, massive waterslides, 42 bars and lounges, a theatre, a spa, a shopping district and even an ice rink. Like this post? 0 Liked! 0 Disliked 0
