What makes knowledge so precious is that in some cases, it can be impermanent and fleeting. Nothing knows this more than the ancient and secret libraries of the world. Most know the lost Library of Alexandria, and how historians are still puzzling out what exactly it contained and how much knowledge was lost to history when the Library fell, but there’s also plenty of other secret and ancient libraries in the world that hold secrets we’ll probably never get to learn.
They say that knowledge is power, and if so, then these are the most powerful libraries in the world. Wish I could get a library card for those ones. Imagine the stuff we could learn.
We’d be gods… or just really, really smart.
