Having worked in media and advertising at one point, I can tell you with absolute certainty, that there’s very little truth in advertising. In fact, much like a lot of things you’ll find in mainstream media, ads are a victim of alternative facts. Yikes! So with that said, where do we find the truth in things?
From the mouth of kids; a kid named Charlotte specifically. She’s a Girl Scout and she’s committed to two things a) selling more cookies than last year, and b) telling the actual, factual truth about said cookies.
Lucky for us, her dad works with Mike Rowe and he posted a hilarious video on his Facebook, reading a letter that Charlotte wrote to a potential client.
It’s amazing, and truthful and something we all should hear.
