A high school student from Newton, Kansas just made this sweet girl’s dream come true. Senior Shaedon Wedel asked his best friend’s younger sister to prom with a unique twist.
Carlie Wittman, 15, has Down Syndrome, but she’s just as fun and outgoing as any teenager her age. Shaedon surprised Carlie when he wore a shirt that says “I know I’m NACHO your typical Dorito but…” with the back reading, “I’m going to be CHEESY and ask: will you go to prom with me?” Carlie, an avid Dorito eater was ecstatic with joy as she accepted his invitation. Twitter caught wind of the kind gesture, and people have been overwhelmed with emotion.
