A mace pistol
Also known as the “holy water sprinkler” or “the king’s walking staff,”Henry’s weapon had a pronged mace that concealed three gun barrels in a spiked head. Apparently Henry thought it was super cool to walk the London street at night with his “walking staff” to make sure his constables were patrolling the town properly.
It sounds like they were, because he was actually arrested one night for carrying a weapon by a cluelessly thorough constable who didn’t recognize him. The king of England ended up spending the night in jail. Instead of firing the man (or executing him), Henry gave him a raise. He also gave his fellow prison buddies a supply of coal and bread.
He probably would have gotten away with it if he was wearing that mask, ain’t nobody wanna mess with a combo like that.
