Clemson’s Running Down the Hill entrance is widely considered the greatest college football entrance these days–and for good reason. There’s a ton of history and pageantry to an entrance that gets the crowd raucous.
Players have to be bused from their locker room on the other side of the stadium to the end zone where they enter. Before starting their run down the hill, all the players touch Howard’s Rock which was a rock brought to the stadium in the 60s all the way from Death Valley, CA. Why Death Valley? Because Memorial Stadium, where the Tigers play, is nicknamed Death Valley.
As the players run down the hill, balloons fly high into the sky and the 80,000 seat stadium goes nuts.
