I consider myself to be a somewhat well-travelled person. And, along with my travels, I’ve been face to face with some pretty weird food: Tarantula in Cambodia, Blood Sausage in the U.K., Grasshopper in Thailand, and a handful of other foods that made my stomach turn immediately upon seeing them on the menu.
However, I couldn’t help but think about the great Anthony Bourdain, who insists that, more often than not, the very best foods are the ones that we never think to eat: The stuff we throw away. So, I ate as much weird shit as I could, and you know what, it wasn’t half bad! Here are some foods from around the world that sound gross, but are apparently pretty damn tasty.
