Harry Houdini is perhaps the most famous magician in history. In his later years, he went mad with the idea of the afterlife, promising his wife he’d contact her from beyond the grave with a secret message that only she knew. In his last will, he also specified that there must be a spiritual séance every year on the anniversary of his death.
