Unless you’re pushing your 30’s or 40’s, you probably have never set foot in a proper video game arcade (Chuck-E-Cheese doesn’t really count). During it’s heyday from 1979 until the mid 90’s, arcades were where you went to blow through stacks of quarters, show off for the girls and hang out with your friends. Many a glorious afternoon was spent surrounded by flashing lights, clicking joysticks and incessant sounds.
It was a simpler time.
