The first trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker dropped a few days ago and nerds around the world are freaking out, myself included. By all early indications, this film will pick up the broken pieces from the dumpster fire that was Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi, and give us an end to the epic saga that all us die-hard fans deserve.
One such fan, who goes by the name TheEricButts on Twitter, shared his reaction video to the trailer and it wasn’t long before the wholesome clip went viral. But not because of his pure joy and unfiltered passion. Instead, some self-entitled succubus of joy, who I’m not even going to name because she doesn’t deserve any spotlight, thought it’d be a good idea to drag Eric through the mud because he genuinely loves Star Wars. Apparently, loving something and being passionate about it is a problem for her.
