Time for a reality check, folks. We’ve been taught that the world’s a scary place and that things we readily assume to be true, are actually quite rare. Things like:

Successful restaurants – most restaurants close within 6 months. The majority left close within 5 years. People think if they have a good idea it will work. Watch some of those save my restaurant shows. These people have never run a business before. I don’t care if you are running a mom and pop, a McDonald’s, or a 5 star restaurant at the end of the day it is all about profit and loss. And if you don’t have any working business experience you will not succeed no matter how good your idea is.
