A few days ago, I got a text from one of my good friends, Texas country-rock legend, Josh Abbott. The Josh Abbott Band had just finished a great boozy song called ‘Oughta Get Drunk’ and he thought theCHIVE would be the best place to host the world premiere of the video. Josh Abbott is also not stupid.
Perhaps my favorite thing about Josh is that he refused to join any of the big machine record labels and relied on his music to tell his story. And I love a good underdog story.
