Of all the relationships that I’ve treasured the most in my life, the one I have with my grandma is probably the most valuable. While my parents were always tired of my shit, she was always interested in what happened in school, what new tricks I learned, and gave awesome hugs. Now, as an adult, obviously, the relationship is different, but he’s probably still one of my biggest fans. I think most of us can say that.
That’s probably why I gravitated to this Twitter thread from Antoine H. He recently lost his grandmother, and in trying to memorialize her and her meaning in his life, he found that he could sum up the essence of her character and awesomeness via a game they both loved; Dungeons & Dragons.
I rolled the dice and got a level 20 heartwarming feeling here.
