When it comes to food safety in restaurants, I get that it’s a serious business and someone’s got to be on top of it. Whether it’s the local food inspector, the restaurant themselves, or a concerned citizen, there needs to be accountability to the customers and their health and safety. So, on one hand, I get where this post on r/legaladvice is coming from. When something doesn’t taste right, you definitely need to flag it to someone.
But, on the other hand, maybe you need to check yourself before you start raising a stink. But I’ll let the original poster share their story:
“One week ago I went for the first time to a popular casual chain fast food place for lunch. Make your own burrito/wrap/salad place, you probably know what I’m talking about.”
