Who doesn’t love Legos? Growing up, I tried to build everything with them, and I envy the kids these days that actually get to go to a Lego Store and visit LegoLand and all that fun Danish-brick-building goodness.
The appeal of Legos is so great that there’s actually people who make a living from building models from lego; from scaled recreations to live-sized figures. But what if (and bear with me), you wanted to build a life-sized recreation of a building? How many bricks would that take? What about if you wanted to build all the buildings in the U.S. out of Lego? All the highways?
What about recreating the entire U.S. brick by brick, in a life-sized orgy of Legos? How many bricks would that be? Spoiler alert: a lot. A shit ton of bricks; more zeros than you can count. Lucky for you For Rent.com has done the math.
