There’s no earthy amount of gratitude and respect that we can adequately give to those on the front lines of this pandemic. Every single first responder, front-line worker, and essential (and non-essential) worker that is face-to-face with this pandemic, deserves nothing more than to be considered a hero.
Added to that, to be completely honest, is anyone who’s spending their time and energy in the service of those working on solving this crisis. These people might not see the crisis first hand, but they’re dedicating their time and their selves to offer whatever support and resources they can.
People like Captain Tom Moore, for example. He’s a WWII veteran, a dad, a grandfather and someone who is single-handedly helping to keep the NHS afloat during this crisis. I wish I was kidding.
