On Canada Day this year, I’d like to remember the legacy left by the lead singer and lyrical poet of The Tragically Hip, Gord Downie.
On May 24, 2016, the nation learned that Gord Downie had incurable brain cancer.
Despite cancer ravaging his brain, Gord allowed all of us the opportunity to say goodbye. Enduring his illness with great fortitude Gord Downie and The Tragically Hip went on tour.
