I’ll be real with you guys:

I like Applebee’s. I don’t love it, but I like it. As someone who’s done a shitload of driving, sometimes you don’t want to stop off in a random town and hope they have decent local food. Sometimes, you need to know exactly what kind of food you’re getting, and when I go to Applebee’s, I know EXACTLY what I’m getting.

(Same principle applies to going to Ruby Tuesday, Denny’s, etc.)
