When the Chivers blew past Cole’s $20,000 goal in an hour on Tuesday, I knew Cole and his (amazing) family had an outside shot at hitting $100,000.
Once I launch a story it is handed off to theCHIVE community and is no longer in my control. Usually, after 24 hours the donations taper off, that’s just the way of things.
That has not happened in this instance. $20,000 turned into $40,000, then $60,000 and $80,000…
