Sasha Grey has lived about 4 lifetimes in just a very short 28-year span. From being the porn industries’ biggest star, to transitioning into major film & television roles like The Entourage, writing a series of best-selling books, and even making a name for herself as respected DJ. Sasha, is a woman of many skillsets, whose beauty is only matched by her intelligence.
We sat down with Sasha and discussed what inspired her to break into the adult entertainment business at just 18 years old, which is both fascinating and empowering. But we also learned some of the pros and cons of being in the porn industry, like keeping up a dating life, dealing with over-the-top fans, and how she suddenly had access to a world of opportunities, events, and people at her beck and call. It wasn’t always easy transitioning out of porn and into mainstream media, and dealing with people’s hangups and personal attacks, but Sasha has managed to make the transformation with grace, while breaking down a few stigmas & stereotypes along the way.
