Due to the warm weather and lack of rain, Sweden is currently facing the worst amount of forest fires in modern times. To help combat the raging fires, several countries in the European Union, including Norway, Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, France, and Poland, have stepped up and offered them helicopters, vehicles, and manpower.
A small group of Swedish firefighters decided to show their appreciation, parking their trucks on a highway overpass to welcome a convoy of 140 Polish firefighters in 44 vehicles. The touching moment was captured by onlookers, giving us the chance to see what true heroes look like.
