The older we get, the more we become our parents. It is just how the natural order of life goes. I have found myself uttering the same words as my parents and grandparents more and more throughout the last several years and have finally accepted the fact that I am turning into my parents. While I did not have a big “oh shit” moment that made me realize it, these folks did.
