Rebecca Black took to Instagram recently to commemorate the 9-year-anniversary of gifting the greatest karaoke song this generation has ever known, ‘Friday.’
Alright, maybe that’s a little bit of a stretch, but don’t you dare look me in the eyes and tell me you can’t sing a portion of that song. I’ll bet you 7 AM wake up call and a bowl of cereal you can.
Aside from reminding us the song exists (and that we’ll all now be singing it in the back of our heads for the rest of the week), Black also provided a candid look into how the song negatively affected her life, and what she wished she could say to her younger self.
