It’s been 44 years since Pamela Voorhees avenged her son, Jason’s death by letting loose a reign of terror over Camp Crystal Lake. Sean S. Cunningham’s legendary slasher flick from 1980 once again revolutionized the horror genre. Since then audiences have had reason to be afraid of going into the woods.
Obviously the film spawned an entire franchise including some good, some bad, and some ugly movies (looking at you Jason X.) But nothing beats the original.
We wanted to celebrate by showing off some Friday the 13th fandom. Cheers to another 44 years!
