Road to Perdition (2002)
Not a lot of people know that this was a graphic novel first. The original novel was about a mob enforcer and his 12-year old son who go on a quest to exact revenge for the death of their family. While the film and the graphic novel do differ in many ways, the spirit is the same. Both look at the father/son relationship and look at the cost of violence on one’s soul.
In both cases, they’re fantastic stories that will captivate you.
