Hell yes, we’re getting a Mad Max spin-off about Furiosa’s past (5 GIFs)

Normally, I tend to be pretty cynical about prequels. They’re very rarely necessary or good, but if there’s one prequel I’ve wanted to see for the last five years, it’s how Furiosa of Mad Max: Fury Road became who she was.

And we’ve been teased about it for years now. After Fury Road came out, the director, George Miller, teased not only making a sequel showing the continuing adventures of Max, but some kind of prequel about Furiosa. But a courtroom battle in 2018 over unpaid profits to Miller basically derailed those plans.

Or so we thought.
