Fair warning, some of these movies tanked so badly that you likely never knew they even existed. Nevertheless, as we spend so much time discussing the greatest box office successes of all time, sometimes it’s worth noting the biggest cinematic fails of all time (financially, at least).
Below is a list of cinematic bombs that the studios are still cringing at to this day…
1986 — “Howard the Duck”
Believe it or not this actually Marvel’s first film ever. Clearly they’ve learned a thing or two since “Howard,” but at the time the loss was so bad that then-president of Universal Frank Price resigned after the failure.
