It’s a bittersweet moment for me. Fantastic Fest 2024 ended last night with an insane closing night party as all Fantastic Fests do. I had a blast this year, but I’m definitely taking a break from watching movies in theaters for a bit.
(That break is going to last approximately three days, but I digress.)
What the end of Fantastic Fest also means is that I have coverage for the rest of the movies I saw this year. This round-up is filled with some of the most audacious and strange movies I’ve ever seen in all of the years I’ve covered Fantastic Fest, including one of the strangest movies to ever play the festival in one of its coveted “Secret Screening” slots.
