As a slight literary refresher, the “antagonist” of a story is not always the villain, they’re just someone who stands in opposition to the goals of the protagonist, who moves the story forward.
But secondary antagonists have a way of being WAY bigger bastards than the primary antagonist, and these are just scratching the surface of a proud tradition of complete assholes in films, video games, books, and more.
