A great soundtrack can make or break a movie. A lot of people out there love a movie like Guardians of the Galaxy (myself included), but imagine that movie without its soundtrack. I’m not going to say it would have been a bad movie without that soundtrack, but it wouldn’t have been nearly as good.
To my surprise, this list of best-selling soundtracks doesn’t have Guardians of the Galaxy on it, but there’s a hell of a lot on here that just about anyone will recognize (and look, I know everyone jumps to number one on galleries like this, but if you sit there and really REALLY think about it, you know what number one is).
Oh, one last thing. This list is based on RIAA certified units.
