Sweet Butters Stotch. If Eric Cartman is the master manipulator and the voice of evil in ‘South Park’, Butters is the opposite. Even when he does act cruel — like when he became a pimp with a “bottom bitch” — he was still acting from the influence of others (in this case, a pimp named Keyshawn). He’s just too trusting for his own good, which is why he’s the go-to character for episodes where the series pokes fun at insane parents (like when he inadvertently tells his mother that his father is going to gay movie theaters and bath houses. His mother’s response? Attempting to drown Butters in a river). Poor Butters. At least there’s one place where he always comes out on top: the dance floor.
