These sketch basts are from the family Lycosidae, from the Ancient Greek word for wolf. These guys like to hunt alone, and rely on their camouflage ability to keep them hidden from potential prey. They’ve been known to run short distances when chasing and killing their prey, which is reason enough for this spider to be thrown into the ‘nope’ category.
