Even people who fear the ocean like I do have to acknowledge one basic fact: Sharks have an undeserved bad reputation. Most won’t come within 1,000 feet of a human being, and while they can be dangerous close-up, statistically speaking you’d have to fuck up quite a bit to end up face to face with a swarm of sharks by mistake.
