You might not be familiar with DesignCrowd, but it’s a website where you can get freelance designers. Now, I can say from personal experience that artists of all stripes love making stuff around Halloween, and so DesignCrowd users put together their own mash-ups of classic paintings with spooky material.
The end result? Pretty awesome (and a whole bunch of riffs on the Mona Lisa):
