I’m not a fan of puns, so the word “Catio” does raise every hair on my neck, but the concept is honestly really cool (assuming you LOVE your cat, and I mean that).
A Seattle-based business, Catio Spaces, has helped pioneer the concept, and it’s mostly what it sounds like: An outdoor area for your cat. But no human patio I’ve ever been on had a series of tunnels hanging in the air. Catio Spaces offers designs you can download and build yourself, and these examples are awesome to behold (but I’m not going to lie, this is a LOT of effort to give your cats a neat place to play outside without giving them free rein).
