The Aztec Death Whistle is one of the scariest sounds you’ll ever hear

In 1999, a sacrificial victim was uncovered in an ancient Aztec tomb. He was around 20 years old when killed, clutching a small skull statue in his rotted hands. For years, archaeologists thought the artifact was just that: a statue. Until they noticed a small hole in the top of the skull’s head.
It turns out the skull statue is a whistle. And when blown into, it emits one of the most horrifying sounds you’ll ever hear:
