Being a professional golfer is no easy feat. Since golfers are paid out on their performance, lower tier professionals do not have the same income as some of the better-known players. This can make it incredibly difficult to make it to the PGA Tour while still having to work to support yourself and a family as mini tours barely provide enough earnings to cover expenses.
