The world seems to be going the way of more and more overly protective parents. Hell, when I was a young lad, nothing in our house was “child-proof”. Basically, we ran into shit all the time prompting our parent’s laughter to which we then internalized as a mistake not to make again. Worked out just fine for me, I think, but one Redditor asked the question “Adult children of helicopter parents, how do you deal with them now?”
