For those of you unfamiliar with one of the most pressing issues of modern society (shame on you!), manspreading is when a man sits with his legs apart on a subway or anywhere people sit in public, forcing women to stand or take up as little space as possible by sitting with their legs pressed firmly together. I always referred to manspreading as “sitting in a way that doesn’t twist my balls into a painful figure-8 formation” but certain circles of third wave feminism prefer to call it “an oppressive and heinous display of male dominance.”
