Pink pond appears in Hawaii, leaving scientists scratching their heads

Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge in Maui has literally turned pink. The extravagant color change has some scientists concerned. According to Bored Panda, some experts first suggested the pink hue may have been caused by toxic algae. That theory has since been debunked after testing.
