Boryeong Mud Festival
The annual mud festival takes place during the summer in Boryeong, South Korea. The festival started in 1998 and by 2007 attracted around 2.2 million visitors. It was originally started to promote cosmetics made from the mud trucked in from the nearby Boryeong mud flats.
