What was the worst thing that you ever did as a kid, that totally put your parents in a bind? Probably nothing too severe, right? Nothing that required a lawsuit or them selling their cars to pay off a tech company? Yeah, didn’t think so. It seems, however, that we live in different times, where unsupervised kids are causing some serious shit, and it’s all video games’ fault.
Ok, not really. It’s mainly the kids’ fault. This is what happens when you mix kids, credit cards, parents that don’t pay attention and easy in-app/in-game purchases at the click of a button. I mean, it’s an easy revenue stream for the company, so you know that Apple, Microsoft and other developers are going to keep things simple. It’s business.
In the meantime, this is what you get when you had a device to a kid unsupervised and expect them to be responsible. Makes you wonder if these parents have ever heard of prepaid credit cards and quality time with the kids?
