Bahlsen, one of the most renowned food companies in Europe and the producer of the very popular Leibniz butter biscuits, has their headquarters located in Hannover, Germany. In front of the building stands a statue displaying a 20 kg (44 lb) brass Leibniz biscuit coated in gold. For over a century, it hung as an iconic symbol of the brand.
