Cops have a dangerous, often high-stress, job to cope with on a daily basis. So to break through some of the tension, a branch of the New York Police Department has brought in a new transfer straight from the North Pole to bring justice, and a little levity to the grind.
Since the beginning of the month, the department has been showing off the new Elf on the Shelf, who they aptly named Pete on the Beat, and he’s out to make a name for himself.
