Memorial Day is a time to reflect on how far we’ve come, but more importantly, to remember how we got here. The freedom that we enjoy every day did not always belong to us – we had to fight for it. And many, many brave men and women have paid for the cost of freedom with their lives.
Today we respect and honor the fallen. There is no greater sacrifice than the one they have made for our country. And it is with the intention of honoring their memories that we move forward, looking ahead to the future where we, as civilians, do everything in our power to support our military.
Chive Charities is committed to ensuring that any veteran in need… in need of a grant, of assistance, or support, or of something to hope for, has a place to come. When our veterans have nowhere left to turn, they turn to us.
One of the most special things about Chive Charities is that we don’t just give grants as a quick fix. There is nothing appealing to us about solving a problem in the short-term. Rather, we focus on what we can do for our veterans and first responders that will improve their quality of life tomorrow, next year, and the year after that. We want to make the world 10% happier, and we won’t settle for anything less.
And over the last few years, we’ve helped our heroes reach some pretty incredible milestones…
