When I first moved down to Texas, I had no clue what to expect. I had visited a couple of times but never enough to really see what the state was about. One thing that I did know though was that Texans love their guns and hunting….and for good reason.
Hog hunting in Texas is HUGE. There are around 5 to 6 MILLION wild hogs and, as an invasive species, they can do some real harm to native plants and the future of endangered animals in the area. In order to combat their destructive nature, hog hunting has become a necessity for hunters and landowners all over the state.
