For the general public, Halloween is one of the few days where it’s completely acceptable for adults to act like they were kids again. Luckily for Chive Nation, we’re all just a bunch of kids pretending to be adults anyways. The Halloween parties this year throughout Chive Nation were plenty, and all of them looked like a blast. Cowtown Chive raised $3,824 for Chive Charities and 22Kill. The Chive Boise raised nearly $800 for Chive Charities. Chive On Seattle had their annual Chive-O-Ween party and raised about $3,000 in food donations for Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Tree House. Most of these events wouldn’t be possible without the work put in by the Chive Nation chapter admins, and we toast to every single one of you that keeps Chive Nation crushing charitable initiatives all over the world.
The Green Gala is coming up in one week, and we can’t wait to host every one of these crazy misfits in our little city of Austin. So get your bow ties and ball gowns ready, Chive Nation – first rounds are on us. If you’re not in Austin next weekend, be sure to check out the ‘Events on the Horizon’ section to find a meetup near you and remember what momma told you: make us proud. Have a blast, keep it fun, get wasted, and tip the shit out of the staff.
