One of the most difficult feats in all of baseball is for a pitcher to throw a no-hitter. Only 311 have been thrown in the MLB since 1887, an average of about 2 per year. Well 2021 is continuing the WTF trend of 2020 and 6 no-no’s have already been tossed this year.

As we are roughly a quarter of the way through the MLB season, it is very possible that 2021 could go down as the season with the most no-hitters ever thrown. Only time will tell, but until then enjoy these wild facts about no-hitters.
